Secretary of LWM Inc.  our charity Association in PNG.   Chris has been a faithful stalwart in support of LWM since its earliest days when Guy as the  ‘vision carrier’ visited the area on occasions prior to setting up permanently.

In this regard Chris being involved, he is, in a sense walking in his grandfather’s footsteps.   Charles W Abel came to set up Kwato Mission in 1891 and left an enormous legacy not just to Milne Bay but to the whole of PNG.  He was followed by Russell (Chris’father) and Cecil who continued the work at Kwato, before and after WWII.

Chris’ wisdom and understanding of village communities is unparalleled and we are deeply grateful to have him with us.
