God has been so good to us. He blessed us with a warm meal at Pat and Keith’s house. Jesus has really blessed their lives. it was wonderful listening to all their stories.
We are very happy to say that we are nearly ready to leave! We have the shake down sail on Wednesday 24th to see if there is more to be done on the boat as well as to see if the modifications on her rudder and keel work well and have improved Living Waters sailing.
We are busy installing the solar panels and the water maker as you read this. This means we will have constant charging of the batteries and have fresh water throughout our trip. The water maker is of a large enough scale for us to provide fresh water to the communities of Papua New Guinea.
On Thursday we have a barbecue (braai) at the Bamber Family house. The South African mates are so excited to share some of their culture with the crew and the Bamber family.
