The Bay of Biscay ticked off.

This newsletter is what Rose Yareki experienced on this leg of the journey.

We left Brest with force 6 winds heading towards Madeira. We had a deep reef in both main sail and foresail. The swell was about 3-4 meters high with winds on our beam.

I really enjoyed helming in this weather it was my first time. We had waves breaking over the bow. I felt a little scared, but the Lord didn’t bring me on this trip to fear because he’s on our side. If God is for us who can be against us.

There was a big depression that came from the West we managed to get into La Corona in time. The sail took us three days to get across the bay. I learnt on this trip how to use the foiling line on the winch.

The furling line did snap again on this trip, so we got a dyneme line to take the role of the roller furling line.

We are thankful for everyone’s support it would be greatly appreciated if you guys help support us with donations.

God bless you all.
