The first mate finally arrived from South Africa which is great news. He arrived on the Island on Wednesday last week and the first thing he did was dinghy sailing with the crew. They did basic sailing skills and capsizing drills.
On Friday we were very blessed. We went to Viv Collins house for a lovely English dinner! It was lovely giving the girls a break from Cooking and the guys from eating Rice.
The PNG crew are doing their RYA day skippers which will be giving them some knowledge of sailing and a certificate.
The Ship is looking great with the deck paint having been completed. Clarence Boatyard is doing an awesome Job. The nav station is also underway and should be completed at the end of this week.
God bless you all!
